Why do I write?
Well, I won't lie here. Generally, I do most of my writing for school. I'm very good at regurgitating information that I research. But let's be real here - that's not fun or imaginative or creative.
I did keep a journal for about seven years, but it's been a couple of months since I last wrote in it, what with work and school and socializing. I feel like I no longer have time to just write.
So now, here I am in my creative writing class relearning how to write for self enjoyment. I don't usually get excited about class but this is my exception. I can't wait to write freely about what I'm feeling and thinking rather than writing another five page research paper about what someone else thinks.
So as of now, I write about and for me :)
